THE HAMILTON CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY ON SATURDAY The second round of the championships of the Hamilton Golf Club was played at St. Andrews links on Saturday. Ideal conditions prevailed and good golf resulted. The results were as follows: Club Championship.—Quarter-finals : R. H. Glading beat G. L. Taylor, 5 and 4; R. A. McKinnon won from J. G. Ferguson by default; G. Seccombe beat A. R. Finn, 5 and 4; W. C. Wynne beat F. J. Mathers, 5 and 4. Intermediate.—l. D. Mears beat J. Roach. 3 and 2; L. I. Day beat A. Dold, 2 and 1 ; W. Gunn beat G. Marriott, 1 up; P. G. Harkness beat A. L. Tompkins, 6 and 4. Junior.—W. Westwater beat L. H. Rhodes, 2 and 1; A. J. Denz beat C. \. Nicklin, 3 and 1; M. C. Stranger beat D. Grant, 3 and 2; J. F.
