Women’s Singles.—Miss H. Jacobs defeated Miss Valerie Scott, 2 —6, G—2, G —3. In the semi-finals Bromwich defeated Gil Hunt, 6—3, 6 —4, 6—l. FOREST HILLS, Sept. 15. At the Forest Hills tourney Vanhorn defeated Sabin, 4—6, 2—6, 6—i, 7—o, o—3.
