SALE OF BULLS
BIG ENTRY FORWARD 450 DAIRY SIRES OF QUALITY A total of close on 450 pedigree dairy sires will he on offer at the annual Combined Breeders’ Bull Fair at the Claudelands Show (grounds next week, when breeders and dairy farmers will be given a unique opportunity of acquiring quality bulls of the various breeds. The big entry will comprise 300 Jerseys, 48 Milking Shorthorns, 33 Friesians and 62 Ayrshires. The entries will represent'all the leading studs of the South Auckland district, and it is reported that the quality right through is well up to the high standards of previous years. The auctioneers will be the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, G. W. Ves-coe and Company, and Dalgety and Company.
