NEW ZEALAND STUDENT
PRESENTATION TO QUEEN A private presentation to the Queen at. an afternoon reception at the house of Lady Aoward de Walden, in Belgrave Square, was one of the experiences of Miss Winifred McQuilkan, a New Zealand girl who has been two years at Oxford. Miss McQuilkan won a post-graduate scholarship from the University of New Zealand and has spent two years studying for a Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Somerville College, Oxford. The party at which she was presented to the Queen was an Informal one with a musical programme provided by Australian and New Zealand artists. Miss McQuilkan was one of the 20 out of 500 guests who were presented to Her Majesty.
