CYCLE ROAD RACE
MATAMATA HANDICAPS The Matamata Cycling- Club -will hold a road race to Morrinsville and back via Waitoa and Kereone, a distance of 44 miles, tomorrow. Handicaps have been declared as follows:—It. Hirst, B. Deane, E*. Potter, scr; E. A. Smith, J. Fannin, L. Hunt, J. Smith, C. Swinbourn, 3m; W. Ilannken, S. Hall, S. Baker, A. Moon, 6m; W. Goulding, J. Colliding:, L. Clothier, 10m; T. Moore, I-. Williams, M. Clothier, L. Robinson, 11. Thompson, 14m; D. Hunt, B. Hirst, M. Desmond. W. Lincoln, L. Pitt, J. Armstrong-, 20m. The race will start at l^p.m. When a Chinaman is invited to a meal, he offers his thanks to his host before the meal commences, not afterwards.
