BOXING TOURNAMENT DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS ONE BOUT LASTS FIVE SECONDS (By Telegraph.—Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Wednesday The finals were reached in most sections of the New Zealand amateur boxing championships this afternoon and evening, and the tournament ends to-morrow evening. There were many lively bouts this evening, but the most dramatic was in the middle-weight, W. Enright (Southland) and R. Branch were expected to provide the best bout of the day, but it was over in five seconds with one blow, Enright using a terrible right hook. In a light-weight bout between McGirr and Morris in the afternoon the judges gave a wrong decision in error, and in the evening they reversed the decision, giving it to Morris. Both are now out of the tourney, however, with injuries. Fly-weight.—B. Maddern (Taranaki; beat W. Drew (Otago) on points; C. Worth (Auckland) beat G. Hastings Manawatu; on a technical knock-out; A.
