Mr C. A. Cuming, of New Plymouth, is visiting Hamilton. The Rev. Dr. T. Paterson has been elected Moderator of the Oamaru Presbytery. Messrs F. Muller and R. W. Llewellyn (Auckland), are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr H. L. Paterson, of Dunedin, has been elected Dominion president of the Institute of Surveyors. Mr A. H. Ward, of Wellington, technical officer of the New Zealand Dairy Board is in Hamilton. Mr T. Wardlaw, of Walmana, and Mr N. Moore, of Core, were in Hamilton today for the National Jersey Sale. Mr R. McCuliuni, who has been a member of the Marlborough College Board of Governors for 4U years, has resigned. Mr W. J. White hss been elected to till the vacancy on the Cambridge Domain Board caused by the death of Mr James Hooker. The Rev. John Gibson Inkster, minister of Knox Church, Toronto, is expected to arrive in New Zealand thia month. Messrs E. Grant, F. S. Vaughan (Wellington), M- R. J. Marshall (Christchurch), G. F. Atkinson, A. B. Burvveil Uuglewood) and W. Lindon (Auckland; are at the Midland Hotel. Mr R. O. Johnspn, formerly of Otago and latterly of Auckland, has arrived in Hamilton to take up his appointment as physical instructor at tha Hamilton Y.M.CJL Mr S. S. Dean, chairman of the executive of the New Zealand Rugby Union, is expected to arrive in Hsrniii ton on Saturday for the FlJian-Maorl All Black match. The Rev. Dr. R. C. Gillie, who has been supplying at St. David s Presbyterian Church, Auckland, during the absence of the Rev. W. Bovver Black, has decided to return to England because of the outbreak of war. LOCAL Me
