Plant Breeding On tiie invitation of the general secretary of the Seventh International Congress of Genetics, says a London correspondent, Dr. O. If. Frankel, of Christchurch, plant geneticist for the New Zealand Wheat Research Institute, has been organising a committee from the members of the congress, whose task it will be to discuss methods of plant breeding from the advances in science of heredity. Geneticists and plant breeders representing a number of countries have agreed to act on this committee.
