OFFERS OF SERVICE MINISTER'S APPRECIATION COMPREHENSIVE SOI IBM E EVOLVED (Itjr T«slenxaDn. —Press association) WELLINGTON, Tuesday Appreciation of the generous and loyal offers made by road transport operators throughout New Zealand since the declaration of war was expressed on behalf o-f the Government by the Minister of Transport, the Hon. R. Semple, today. The Minister said that full and careful consideration had been given to the organisation of road transport. This was being brought up to its highest point of efficiency to enable the productive capacity of the country to be maintained. “I have been in consultation with the leaders of the various branches ol the road transport industry,” said Mr Semple, “and a comprehensive plan covering all forms of public 'motor transport has been worked out.
