SMALL FARMS ACT
AMENDING LEGISLATION OTHER BILLS INTRODUCED In the House of Representatives yesterday the following Bills were introduced: An amendment to fhe Small Farms Act, abolishing the compulsory purchase clause and extending the period of lease from 10 to 33 years; the Municipal Association Bill, providing for the incorporation of the association; and the Legal Aid Bill, enabling legal practitioners to assist poor persons without charge. The Napier Harbour Board Loan Amendment Bill was put through its final stages and passed.
