CARGOES OF PRODUCE •During Hie week ended August 11, 1000 vessels, representing 1,013,294 net register tons, used the Port of •London. Of these 510 vessels (812,567 net register tons) were to and from Empire and foreign ports and 490 vessels (200,727 net register tons) were engaged in coastwise traffic. The arrivals included six meat cargoes, viz: Two from Australia, one .from New Zealand and three from South America, comprising 152,000 carcases of lamb and mutton, 130,000 quarters of beef, quantities of pork, rabbits and sundries. Twenty timber laden vessels docked in the Surrey Commercial and India and Mill wall Docks with 34,000 tons of softwood. Passenger Traffic Tilbury Passenger Landing Stage has had a busy week. Commencing with the arrival of R.M.S. Mauretania on Sunday (August 0), twenty vessels came alongside to embark or disembark passengers. Cruising vessels were Arandora Star, Atlantis and Montcalm; vessels on regular services included Georgic, Highland Monarch, Ascania and City of Simla. The Gothenbung service was operated by the usual steamers,Suecia and Britannia and the summer service to the Continent left nightly.
