SPRING HORSE FAIR
GOOD QUALITY CLYDESDALES (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Friday. At the Cambridge spring horse fair this week the lull number of horses has come forward and generally speaking the quality has been up to and even better than at previous sales. A special feature or the sale was the outstanding good quality Clydesdales rrom the South Island. That these are keenly sought was evidenced by the good prices obtained by 'Mr J. R. McMurray, of Gore. This vendor has been bringing horses to the sale for a number of years and apparently purchasers have been satisfied and were prepared to come and buy again. While all classes were lower in value the horse most affected was the big heavy draught. Light draughts and useful light horses, while lower In value, sold more freely.
