ROYAL NEW ZEALAND AIR FORCE JJOYAL N.Z. AIR FORCE. PILOTS, AIR GUNNERS, OBSERVERS. Applications are invited from desiring to serve in the Royal Air Force and the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Enlistment will be for the duration of the war for service overseas or within New Zealand. Candidates accepted will he trained in New Zealand and if selected for overseas service, granted free passage to the United Kingdom. Pay will he continuous from date of entry until transferred to the Royal Air Force when they will receive Royal Air Force rates of pay. GENERAL. All candidates must have attained the age of seventeen and a-half years but not twenty-eight years, be unmarried, able to pass the prescribed medical examination, and educated up to the standard of the School Certificate or the University Entrance Examination. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT APPLICANTS SHALL HAVE ATTAINED THE STANDARD OF EDUCATION REQUIRED. NO PREVIOUS FLYING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. The above scheme replaces all previous methods of entry and is now the only method for untrained men to enter the Flying branch of either Service.
