CAMBRIDGE STOCK SALE Dalgety and Company, Limited, report as follows on their triweekly sale at Cambridge yesterday. There was a small yarding of sheep and cattle. Values were well up to the good prices at recent sales, all lots being sold under the hammer. Mediumweight fat steers made £9 17s; light P.A. cows, £7 7s; fat Jersey cows, £6 10s to £7 las; heavy boners, £3 •os to £3 17s 6d; medium, £2 2s 0d to £2 18s; light, £1 to £1 12s 6d; yearling heifers, medium quality, £3 Pis; small, £1 15s; prime fat ewes, 235; hoggets, 255; lighter, 10s. A good yarding of dairy cattle came forward and quality cattle commanded keen competition. Good quality heifers showing well forward sold from £9 to £11; medium, £7 to £9; more backward sorts, £4 to £6 10s; •three-quarter cows, £4 to £6 15s; cows to calve, £5 to £7; choice calved heifers, £9 10s to £lO. A good yarding of pigs came forward and prices were firm on late rates. Light baconers realised £3 6s to £3 8s; medium buttermilk pitgs, £2 10s to £2 15s; light, £2 5s to £2 10s; medium porkers, £2 to £2 ss; light, 35s to £2; medium store pigs, 25s to 30s; small, 20s to 255; best weaners, 20s to 255; medium, 15s to 20s.
