Copyright) SYDNEY, Sept. 10 New Zealand horses scored a notable triumph when Defaulter, Beau Vite and Royal Chief tilled the places in the Chelmsford Stakes, the chief event, at the meeting conducted by Tattersall's Club at Randwick yesterday. The Auckland-owned Olympus, who was purchased in Australia as a yearling by Mr R. T. Reid, was narrowly beaten by Adios in the Tramway Handicap. Beau Repaire and Pearl of Asia ran unplaced in the Three and Four-Year-Old Handicap, and Moorsotis in the Welter Handicap. Details:— TRAMWAY HANDICAP First £455, second £l3O, third £65; ? furs. Adios proved too solid over the last furlong to win by half-a-length. Sediinum was a length away third. Time, 1.24*.
