WAGES AND HOURS CONSIDERATION BY COMMITTEE (By Telegraph.—Press association) WELLINGTON, Friday In the taxi drivers’ dispute before j the Conciliation Council because of the present unsettled state of affairs no agreement could be reached on the question of wages, hours of work or holidays. Agreement was reached on other points. A small committee was set up to see if the two sides could reconcile ! their views. If this is successful the j Commissioner will call the parties j together again.
