YOUNG MAN FINED £2O (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday For aiding Patrick McQuillan, butcher, aged 23, in the offence of driving while intoxicated, Percy Roy Howlett, labourer, of Rotherham St, was fined £2O, in default 14 days’ imprisonment. He was also charged with using obscene language, with forging McQuillan’s name to a car rental agreement, with assault and with driving without a license. He pleaded not guilty. The forgery charge was withdrawn and on the other charges he was convicted and discharged.
