PATERANGI NEWS

HOOKEY DANCE A successful and jolly dance was held in the Paterangi Hail recently, many visitors being present /rom Te Awamutu, uliaupo, hihikilii, Pirongia and surrounding districts. The hull had been effectively decorated with greenery and vases ol' hydrangeas and autumn-tinted leu\es. 'The duties of M.G. were capably performed by Mr Ron Spiers, excellent dance music being provided by "’•yd. strange’s syncopal ors. The novelty dance was won by Miss Pearl Snowden and partner, and Miss Gladys Curtis was also successful in winning a competition. Among those present were:—Mesdames G.
