DUCHESS OF WINDSOR

CLAIMS ROYAL TITLE SUGGESTION OF RECONCILIATION (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received June 5, 11 a.m.) LONDON, June 4 As a sequel to Queen Mary’s motoring accident, some newspapers are suggesting a reconciliation between the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, and the Royal Family, and the return of the Duke and Duchess to England. The Duchess is said to he adamant in opposing a visit to London, unless she is granted the title of “ Her Royal Highness.*’ This is at present regarded as very unlikely. Thus, there seems to be littie prospect of overcoming the deadlock.
