AITKEN’S POTTED GOAL Seniors: Old Boys 9, United 6;.Kcreone 8, Terriers 5. Juniors: Kereone 3, United 3; Waitoa 14, 'Terriers 5. Thirds: Terriers 9, Kereone 0. Uld Boys 19, Waitoa 3. In the main senior game United were leading 6 —o at half-time, the result of two forward tries by Morris and Menzies. In the second half Old Boys had the sun behind them and threw the ball about with abandon. Muir cut through and scored by the posts for Old Boys. / In the concluding stages Aiken dropkicked a spectacular goal from 40 yards to win the game for his side. Aitken played a good game throughout and was always in the thick of it.
