TRADING BANKS’ RESPONSE (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday Inquiries made of Mr R. C. Addison, chairman of the Associated Banks, as to subscriptions made by the trading banks to the State loan of £4,500,000, failed to elicit any further information than that it had been accorded strong support by the trading banks.
