FAT LAMB COMPETITIONS WAIKATO SUMMER SHOW AWARDS A remarkable record of success in the fat lamb classes at the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Show is held by the Thomas Brothers, of Kereone. and once again this year Mr ■l. F. Tho.ii.*. has been successful in the Co-opera’w • Wholesale Society's Cup for llie most points secured in the fat lamb section. The results of this competition which have just been announced are— J. F. Thomas (Kereone), 19 points, 1; F. K. Thomas (Kereone), 11 points. 2; N. Garvin (Raglan) 8 points, 3. Since the competition was inaugurated six years ago it was won in the first two years by the Thomas Brothers. Air F. K. Thomas was

successful in 1937 and at the last show Mr J. F. Thomas was the winner, with Mr F. K. Thomas runner-up. As the classes usually cover an entry of approximately 1000 iambs the results have been a tribute to the class of stock bred by the brothers and to their ability in selecting showstock.
