ANNUAL MEETING
WHITIORA CROQUET CLUB
The annual meeting of the Whitiora Croquet Club was held in the pavilion, Abbotsford Street, _ recently. The president, Mrs H. lbbotson, presided. The report and balance sheet showed the club to he in a very good position financially. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mrs H. lbbotson; vice-presi-dents, Mrs A. H. Morgan, Mrs C, Nisbet; secretary, Mrs W. J. Cummins; treasurer, Mrs Lock; club captain, Mrs C. Nisbet;. committee, Mesdames Gail, Hawken, Irvine, Bartlett, and Miss Shanahan; match committee, Mesdames Morgan, Nisbet, Kibblewhite, lbbotson, Cummins; green superintendent, Mrs Kibblewhite, assisted by Mesdames Irvine and Cooper; delegates to South Auckland Croquet Association, Mesdames lbbotson, Cummins, Cooper.
During the afternoon the president, on behalf of the members of the club, presented the retiring secretary. Mrs W. L. Drube, with a crystal vase, in
appreciation of her services during the past two years.
