WOMEN’S DIVISION
ELSTOW BRANCH Mrs Stembrldge presided over a large attendance at the monthly meeting of the Elstow branch of the Women’s Division. Mrs Johnson gave a report on the Provincial Council meeting held at Morrinsyille, and also spoke on the formation of a gardening circle. Mrs Wild spoke on the suggested musical circle for the district. Mrs H. Rowbotham spoke on the organisation for the P.P.W.A. centennial conference. During the afternoon Mrs Stembridge made a presentation to Mrs May, who has resigned, and items were contributed by Mrs A. Stewart and Miss Rosa Horn. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames T. Qualtrough, Rogers and G. W. Wild. The competitions resulted as follows: —Best bloom, Mrs Stewart, 1; worked tea towel, Mrs Thompson and Miss Blackford, equal, 1; Miss Strange 3; butter, Mrs Young 1, Mrs Allen 2. The judges were Mrs RowboMium and Miss Horn
