Tel. copyright CANBERRA, June i The Federal Government to-day derided not to renew permission for the importation of New Zealand potatoes. The Prime Minister, Mr It. G. Menzies, told the House of Representatives that he was informing the New Zealand Prime Minister, Mr Savage, of the continuation of the embargo pending an investigation of the position by the local potato advisory committee, with a view to stabilisation of the potato industry.
