FAREWELL EVENING

MRS H. DAY ENTERTAINS Relations and friends were entertained at a farewell party in honour of Mr and Mrs 1). Powell, last Saturday evening at the home ol' Mrs 11. Day, Rukuhia. Cards and games were much enjoyed, and a delicious supper was later served by the hostess'. On behalf of those present, Mr Clive Robinson presented the honoured guests with a handsome vase. Mr Powell replied thanking his friends. Those present were: —Mesdames H. Day, D. Powell, 11. Hepburn, I. Bowler, T. Goodger, W. Moss, C. V. Carryer, R. Provis and Miss Joan Powell.
