DANGEROUS DRIVING CHARGE COLLISION WITH CART A Palmerston North doctor, Thomas 10s and costs by Mr S. L. Paterson, 0s and costs by Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Hamilton, to-day, when he was charged with negligent driving. Senior-Sergeant G. H. Lambert said the charge was a sequel to an accident on the Great South Road on April 1, when the defendant collided with a horse and cart driven by an Indian bottle dealer, Kangi Panehea, of Frankton. Although Panehea said he had lights burning, the doctor and a resident in the vicinity of the accident said no lights were on the cart. 'Hie senior-sergeant said the accident occurred just on lighting-up time.
