Mr Wilbur Shaw, with a speed of 115.035 miles an hour, won the Indianapolis 500-mile race. Mr Jimmy Snyder, uf Chicago, was second, and Mr Cliff Bersere, uf Hollywood, third. Mr Floyd Roberts, the winner of the event in 103i>, was killed in a collision with two other ears, whose drivers and two women snectaturs were injured.
