SYDNEY, March 1 Considerable interest has been roused in Sydney by published accounts of the exhumation of bones recovered from the Piha fire, and reported to be the remains of Mr Gordon McKay. Detectives here admit that they are in cable communication with the New Zealand police, and probably will send a detective to New Zealand to aid in the investigations. Mr Gordon Robert McKay, who was burned to death at Piha, went to New Zealand to establish a business for his four soiTs. This has been revealed by his eldest son, Mr John McKay, of Sydney. Mr ’ Gordon McKay died within a week of his arrival in New Zealand. “Dad was a real pal to his sons,” said Mr John McKay. “lie wanted us to be in some sort of business, not as skin merchants, and, for this reason, went to New Zealand to investigate business possibilities. After completing his negotiations, he was to have returned to Sydney. My father was very keen on insurance, and we knew of his big policies. Not only was he keen, hut he instilled into my mind as well as that of my brothers the importance of insurance/’
