NO AUSTRALIAN VARIATION BANK CHAIRMAN’S STATEMENT (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received March 2,2 p.m.) SYDNEY. March 2 Sir Claude Reading, chairman of the Commonwealth Bank Board, said the question of any variation in the Australian oversea exchange rate was not under consideration by the Commonwealth Bunk, nor had it been discussed with the representatives of the trading hanks or the Government.
