Copyright) LONDON, Feb. 28 British representatives will hear a further expression of the views of the Arabs on the British suggestions for a settlement in Palestine at a meeting of the British and Arab delegations. In the meantime the special joint committee which has been examining the McMahon correspondence, with a view to the publication of an agreed translation along with the text, is understood to be making excellent progress and to be within sight of the end of its labours. Feb. 28 The King has approved the award of the Distinguished Service Order to Squadron-Leader Noel Christie Singer for gallant end distinguished service in Palestine.
The award of the Military Medal for gallant and distinguished service in Palestine to three members of the Trans-Jordan Frontier Force, Sergeant Easa Mohamed, Lance-Corporal Yousel Farah Talgi and Trooper Said Salemah, is gazetted.
