Miss Mollie Davidson. Hamilton, was bridesmaid yesterday at the Nelson— Skeet wedding- at New Plymouth. Miss Joan Clephane was in Hamilton recently and when she returned to Auckland, her sister, Miss Viv ; Clephane, accompanied her. Nurse R. Shadbolt, who was in Hamilton recently speaking on her experiences in Spain, left yesterday for Te Kuiti. Miss J. Hutcheon, Pahiatua, has returned to her home after spending the vacation as the guest of Mrs R. Gilmore, Frankton. Mrs E. M. Crystal, New Plymouth, who has been holidaying in Te Kuiti, has returned home. * * * * Mrs Menzies, New Plymouth, is visiting Hamilton to attend the Mothers’ Union conference, and is the guest of Mrs T. J. Shaw. Mrs W. Rankin has returned to Wanganui after spending several weeks in the Waikato district with her daughter, Mrs Cecil Harding. Miss Catherline Phillips, of Patetonga, and Miss Jean Scott, of Oparau, have left Hamilton on a tour of Queensland. a • • • Mesdames F. G. Arkell (Victoria), Akers (Christchurch), and Miss M. Symons (Auckland) are at the Hamilton Hotel. • • ft • Mesdames V. Tanner, J. Liddell, N. McMurtrie and Misses 0. Bennett and W. 11. Bennett (Wellington), Mesdames T. Cameron, L). Chatfield, T. Van Wart, Miss J. Van Wart and Miss 11. Smith (Auckland), are visiting Hamilton and are registered at the Midland Hotel. • * * * Mrs A. Tulloch, Putaruru, who has been the guest of Mrs F. S. Moorhouse, Hamilton, has returned home. Mrs Allen, New Plymouth, and Mrs Young, Stratford, are visiting Hamilton as delegates to the Mothers’ Union conference. OTOROHANGA Mrs V. R. Meredith and Miss June Meredith, who have been the guests of Mrs J. M. Matthews, “Glen Lee,” have returned to Auckland. Mrs Costley has left by car for a holiday in Wellington. * * # • Mrs Fowler, Te Awamutu, is the guest of Mrs F. Fowler. • • • • Mrs Hugh Grierson has returned from a holiday in Auckland. Mrs R. Robertson, Paterangi, was a recent visitor to Otorohanga. Mrs T. Sumpstone, of Kio Kio, and Mrs F. Verner, of Pukekohe, have left on a motor tour of the South island. Mrs Westmacott has returned to her home at Rangitoto after a nine months’ tour of England.
