The Prime Minister, the Right Hon M. ,1. Savage, will visit Auckland towards the end of the month.
The Rev. J. K. Archer, formerly Mayor of •Christchurch, is in Hamilton.
The Rev. L. A. North, of Welling ton, is visiting Hamilton.
Messrs C. H. Sawyers, A. R. Johnstone, P. ShielT Auckland), and L. W. Sherman (Wellington) are at the Hamilton Hotel.
Dr. A. J. Hodge, of Auckland, is in Hamilton for the inaugural meeting of the South Auckland Baptist Auxiliary.
Mr E. J. Phelan, No. 1 Licensing Authority, who held a sitting in Hamilton yesterday, returned to Auckland last evening.
Mr A. Craig, superintendent of the Hamilton Fire Brigade and past president of the United Fire Brigades Association, will leave for Wanganui tomorrow to attend the annual conference of the association. Mr A. Webb, auxiliary fireman of the brigade, will also attend the conference.
Mr S. Hague, secretary of the Hamilton Fire Brigade, will attend the conference of the Offices and Members’ Institute of the United Fire Brigades Association, which will be held in conjunction with the annual conference of the association at Wanganui.
The session of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church last evening adopted a resolution of sympathy with the family ol the late Rev. R. J. Boyt and also with the congregation of St. George's Anglican Church, Frankton, on the loss sustained by the death of their vicar.
