LONDON MARKET STEADIER DATRY BOARD’S REPORT Advices from London state that although the price of New Zealand butter dropped by about 3s 6d per cwt,. during 1 last week, the market was steadier at the close. Salted was quoted at 118 s to \ 19s per cwt., as against 114 s per cwt. a year ago. ; Retail prices for New*Zealand but- 1 ter are unchanged at Is 3d per lb. The Danish retail price of Is 6d per lb Is expected to be reduced to Is sd. ! By arrangement with the Primary , Products Marketing Department, the following information is supplied by the New Zealand Dairy Board for the week ended February 24, figures for the previous week being given hi parentheses:— Butter.—Now Zealand, salted. lißs to 110 s (1225): unsalted, 122 sto 124 s (124 sto 1255). Deliveries: New Zealand, 1552 tons (last year, 2042 tons) ; in store. 5050 tons (last year, 3804 tons). Australian: Salted, 115 s to 11 Gs (118 s to 110 s); unsalted, 116 s to 117 s extra 118 s (120 s). Deliveries: Australian, 2337 tons (last year, 1516 tons); in store, 5283 tons! (last year. 1 784 tons). Argentine:! Unsalted, 112 s to 115 s (U4s to 116 s). ! Danish. 120 s f.0.b.. 141 sto 142 s ; spot (12is, 146 sto 1475). Dutch:! Unsalted, 120 sto 124 s (128 s).
