WOMAN KILLED
CAR STRIKES BRIDGE RETURNING FROM DANOE TE AWAMUTU PASSENGER HURT (By Telegrapn.—Press Association) W AIM ATE, Wednesday A young woman was killed and three others were injured when a car struck a bridge at The Hook at i a.m. to-day and fell into the creek bed. The woman killed was— Miss Marjorie Martin (28), of Otaio, Those injured were Perclval Martin, the driver of the car; Trevor Lander, of Te Awamutu; and Ronald Galbraith, of Timaru. The condition of the injured is not serious. The party was returning from a dance at Wiilowbridge.
