RIOTING STUDENTS
CLASHES WITH POLICE ANTI-GERMAN DEMONSTRATIONS SERIOUS UNREST IN POLAND (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrig-ht/ WARSAW, Feb. 28 (Received March 1, 3.15 p.m.) Students resumed their anti-German rioting, and many were injured in encounters with the police. The entire constabulary at Cracow has been mobilised for to-morrow, to prevent a demonstration when Count Giano places a wreath on the tomb of the late Marshal Pilsudski. It is reported that the Danzig Polytechnic, in which Nazis and Polish students clashed, has been closed in response to a Polish request. GERMAN CLUB WRECKED HIGH SCHOOL DESTROYED RIOTS IN MANY CITIES (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel.. Copyrig-ht) (Received March 1, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 28 The Warsaw correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says mounted police made a baton charge against students outside Parliament House and the Foreign Office. The police surrounded the university, confining hundreds of students. Students at Ulica Wilcza demolished the German Club. . Crowds wrecked the German high school at Ghorzow, explaining in' a leaflet that it was revenge for Danzig.
There were similar occurrences at Poznan, Cracow, Lemberg and Vilna, but Danzig is believed to be quiet.
