ELECTION OF NEW POPE
PRECAUTIONS FOR SECRECY DOORS LOCKED AND SEALED (United Press kwm. Elec. Tei. Copyright) ROME, Feb. 22 Furniture and bedding have been taken inte the court of St. Damascus, where the Conclave of 62 Cardinals, to elect a successor to Pope Pius XI., will deliberate. Each Cardinal will be attended by two servants. All the outer doors will he locked and sealed. All the windows will be sealed and whitewashed. Telephone? will be cut off to ensure absolut secrecy.
