FEWER RABBITS
EXTERMINATION WORK EAST WAIKATO POSITION (Special to Times) PUTARURU, Monday At the February meeting- of the East Waikato Rabbit Board's territory, the inspector, Mr E. There were many thousands of acres, said Mr Lord where it was difficult to And a rabbit. It was recommended that the three remaining rabbiters, who were the survivors of what was at one time a gang of 26 and who had to cover between 30,000 and 40,000 acres, should receive an increase in salary, it was decided to fix rabbiters’ wages at £4 10s and to grant a travelling allowance.
