FAREWELL AFTERNOON

MRB P. H. ROWE HONOURED Mrs F. G. Seccombe recently gave a charming farewell afternoon at her residence in Princes Street, in honour of Mrs P. 11. Rowe, who leaves Hamilton to-day to reside in Auckland. Bowls of marigolds and golden dahlias were artistically arranged about the drawing room, and on arrival, Mrs Rowe was presented with a floral spray by Mrs Seccombe. Prior to the serving of a delicious afternoon tea, the health of the guest-of-honour was drunk, and site was wished every happiness in her new home. Mrs Seccombe received her guests wearing a frock of multi-coloured daisy-patterned romaine, and Mrs Rowe wore a frock of navy soie and a navy straw hat to match. Those present were:—Mrs T. Simpson, Mrs M. B. Iggulden, Mrs R. E. Conradi, Mrs J. T. Cooney, Mrs L. J. Mark, Mrs W. Waite and Mrs W. Gann, junr.
