TE KUITI WEDDING
PRYOR—CORIN A wedding of wide interest was celebrated at St. Luke's Church, Te Kuiti, on February IS, when Miss Joan Mary Corin, second daughter of Mr and Mrs George Corin, of Te Kuiti, was married to Mr Malcolm George Pryor, only son of Mr and Mrs W. Pryor, of Taumarunui. The Rev. E. W. Hancock officiated and Mr W. Dent was the oiiganist. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a iiandsome gown of magnolia satin, the bodice and train being inlet with Brussels net in the shape of wedding bells. Her flowing veil was a family heirloom. In attendance as bridesmaids were Misses Mavis and Joy Corin, sisters of the bride, who wore frocks of cyclamen net over dahlia taffeta. Their head-dresses were of cyclamen and blue flowers and pleated net, and each carried a bouquet of sweet peas. The
j flower girl, Betty Clist, wore a frock I of dahlia taffeta and carried a golden i basket of sweet peas. Mr W. Allen I (Rotorua) was best man and Mr B. Mellows (Otorohanga) was groomsman. Following the ceremony a reception and dance was held in the parish hall, where the guests were received by the bride’s mother, Mrs Corin, who wore a mauve French georgette frock, with 1 a black hat and black fur coatee. She carried an armlet bouquet of mauve sweet peas. Assisting her was the bridegroom’s mother, who wore brown floral satin over green pleated satin. She carried a bouquet of pink roses.
