ALE IMPORTATIONS
REDUCTION BY ONE-THIRD QUOTA FOR SIX MONTHS (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Monday It was recently reported that the entry to New Zealand of English ales had been prevented by the import restrictions. An importer of Scottish ales states that he has been allowed one-third of last year's imports as his quota for the first half of this year and it is understood the importers of English beer who have been doing regular business have been allowed a similar quota.
