SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS OPEN-AIR CLASSROOM The Manrrgata-ntarl No. 2 School Committee hAs received advice from the Minister of Education that a grant has been made for the provision of a water suj>piy end up-to-date sanitary system at the school. A grant has aLso been made Tor the erection of a detached open-air clas->-loam. A start has already been mad* wUh these Improvements. A bore has been pat down and an excellent supply or water obtained. When the improvements are completed the school will be weQ equipped lor a country district. TE KUITI HULWAYKN DAT SPEWT ACT GAJfBRSDGE (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Monday. Ibe annul Te Kuiti railway picnic waj at Cambridge yesterday, when a special train brought 4 39. Passengers were picked up on the line. Use of the racecourse was granted free by the Trotting Club, and the spreading trees provided plenty of shade for picnic parties. Sports were held during the artemooo and at the conclusion Mr W. Ftnlayson. stationmaster at Te Kuiti, preso ?d the prizes. Thanks to the Cambridge Trotting Club.
