ACCLIMATISATION CLUB
ANNUAL PICNIC YEBTERDAY 1 About 200 people travelled to the j Mangaiti River over the week-end, i where the Hamilton Acclimatisation Club held its annual picnic in ideal ' weather. A lengthy programme was put through, including races for competitors of all ages, nail-driving and chain-stepping competitions, claypigeon shooting events and a distance , fly-casting event.
