MORRINSVILLE RATES The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, report as follows on their Morrinsville stock sale held on Friday: A full entry of cattle came forward including the advertised station cattle and in-calf heifers. Late rates were fully maintained and a complete clearance was effected. Fair quality Jersey in-calf heifers made up to £6 3s; heavy boner cattle, £3 19s to £4 8s; light. £3 3s to £3 17s; hulls, up to £9 15s. Fully the advertised number of breeding ewes came forward and there was a large attendance of buyers. The market was a shade better than last week, a total clearance being effected. Medium quality poor-con-ditioned 4-tooth wethers realised to 15s; medium 2 find 4-tooth ewes off hard country, to 19s; poor-conditioned 4-tootli to 4-year ewes, to 20s; fairconditioned 4 and 5-year ewes, 19s; light-conditioned 5 and 6-year ewes, 14s. An average yarding of pigs came forward and late rates were well maintained. Medium baconers made to £3 8s; light, £3 4s; porkers, £2 8s to £2 12s; weaners, up to 255.
