LIFTING OF EMBARGO URGED PROTECTION OF CONSUMERS THE FEELING IN AUSTRALIA (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. 27. 3.15 p.m.) SYDNEY. Feb. 27 Ministerial members of the State Parliament feel that the Federal Government would be wise to lift the embargo on New Zealand potatoes, in order to protect the consumer from “excessive prices.” The Premier, who for some time has been urging the Federal Government to permit New Zealand potatoes to enter Australia, stated that he will again urge the Commonwealth authorities to do so.
