SPECIAL ORDER Public notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Central Waikato Electric-Power Board to be held at the Board's Ofiices. Anglesea Street, Hamilton, on Tuesday, 28th March, 1030. there will be considered for confirmation a resolution passed by way of Special Order at a meeting of the Board on Monday. 27th day of ; February 1030. as follows: • “That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies Loans Act. 1026, the ElectricPower Board’s Act. 1925, and the , Finance Act No. 2 . 1036, and any other act and amendments thereof. The [Central Waikato Electrio-Power Board i hereby resolves by way of Special [Order as follows: i “That the Board hereby authorises ithe raisinn- of a Special Loan of £50,- ■ 000 for the purposes of further reticulation within the Central Waikato Electric-Power District, with the exception of that portion added to the district by proclamation appearing in the New Zealand Gazette of 21/12/38., pace 2813. “That the term for which the said loan or any part thereof may he borrowed shall he twenty-five 25' years. “That the rate of interest that may he paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall he such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate exceeding three pounds ten shillings £3 10s) per centum per annum. “That the security for the payment of interest and the repayment of principal of the said loan will he a rate of one-ninth of a penny < l-0d in the £ on the rateable value fon the basis of capital value' on all rateable property in the area aforesaid. “That the said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon. shall he repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over the term as determined above. “That payment of such instalments shall be made in New Zealand and no such instalment shall be paid out of loan money.” No money shall be borrowed pursuant to the above resolution if. before the date fixed for the confirmation of the resolution, not less than five per centum of the total ratepayers, whose names are inserted on the Ratepayers’ Rolls of the several constituent districts within the said electricpower district, by writing under their hands, delivered or sent by post to the Offices of the Board aforesaid, demand that a poll be taken on the proposal.
