MELVILLE GATHERING PROCEEDS FOR lIALL FUND Arranged by the Melville Hall Society with a view to raising funds to defray the cost of the hall, a free fair was held in the Melville Hall grounds <-n S;«turHa\ afternoon. Many • >w ind several competitions were conducted during the afternoon. The function, which attracted a large crowd of visitors, was opened by the president of the Hall Society, Mr C. B. V. Ilaverbier. The stall-holders were as follows: Flower show. Mrs C. B. F. ilaverbier: cakes. Mrs M. BuckUuul: sweets. Mrs W. Huntington; afternoon tea Mesdanu - C. Ander, T. H. Henry and C. Willey; produce, Messrs L. Johnson and R. Conder
