JUDGES APPOINTED

BACON CHAMPIONBHIP WAIKATO WINTER SHOW CLASS Mr M. J. Scott, supervisor of the Pig Industry, and Mr Frank Merrit, superviting grader of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, have been appointed chief judges for the New Zealand b#con championship at the Waikato Winter Show. Two assistant judges are to be appointed later. Over 200 entries have been received for the competition which is regarded as the largest of its kind ever held. The staging of so large a class is bound to be impressive and will set the judges a formidable task.
