INSPECTOR DROPS DEAD
MR D. H. GUNN (By Telegraph. —Press Association) ASHBURTON, Friday Mr Donald Hearne Gunn (58), a stock inspector for the Ashburton County, dropped dead at his home this morning. He had succeeded Mr J. W. Smith, who dropped dead at a farmers’ meeting 18 months ago. Mr Gunn was in the Department of Agriculture for 17 years, coming to Ashburton from Otago. He leaves a wife and an adult family.
