THE BALKAN ENTENTE
SERVING CAUBE OF PEACE PERMANENT COUNCIL MEETS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) BUCHAREST, Feb. 22 The Prime Minister of Greece, General Metaxas, in a speech at the opening session of the Permanent Council of the Balkan Entente, said a new agreement was not necessary, and w'ould not be negotiated. The entente would continue to serve the cause of peace.
The British United Press correspondent at Bucharest states that the Balkan Entente, eschewing conflicting ideologies, will allow the geographical situation to decide their attitude toward General Franco.

A communique issued at the conclusion of the conference of Balkan Entente members stated that there was complete harmony in views. it re-afilrmed mutual respect of frontiers.
